Back in April we couldn’t hold a proper celebration of Yvonne’s life after the funeral (due to COVID-19 rules).
So Friday 6th August in The Ramsden Arms will not only be a place where all her friends and family can get together to remember, to laugh, probably to cry a little, as we share our memories of ‘The special one’, but also a chance to raise pots of money for Trinity Hospice.
There will be Snail Racing (not real ones 🙄) raffles, auctions, entertainment (Chris Leonard) and karaoke.
Those of you who have ever had friends or family cared for by Trinity will know just what a special place it is. It costs £9m a year to run the hospice, their nurses and support staff. They have to raise £5m of that themselves.
So in memory of Yvonne and to support such a deserving cause, come on down and probably bump into friends you haven’t seen for the best part of 18 months. 💙
